On track of building a reputation for his avant-garde and edgy designs, Raf Simons teams up with sportswear giant Adidas to deliver his spin on the classic footwear pieces. This pair of black and white leather RS Replicant Ozweego sneakers from Adidas by Raf Simons feature a round toe, a lace-up front fastening, a logo patch at the tongue, a branded insole, a padded ankle, cut out details and a rubber sole.

Here, we find Raf Simons’ celebrated Ozweego design deconstructed, now boasting notable cut-out panels marking a drastic rework of the chunky sneaker. Optioned in scarlet red with rust, cobalt blue with black, and black with cream white, the sneaker features two-layer construction from mesh and synthetic material, a instantly recognizable molded EVA midsole, and a rubber outsole.

According to the internet, “the meaning of the given name Ozweego represents compassion, creativity, reliability, generosity, loyalty and a love for domestic life”. I wouldn’t quite say that we have an undying passion for domesticity, but these Big Boys are certainly inspiring some lurve. Having first hit stores on March 15th, Raf Simons’ latest adidas Originals collab was limited to 500 pairs per colorway worldwide before becoming available once again on April 12th.

They fit true to size as i bought them in a size 41 EU and i usually wear size 41 in Adidas shoes. I must say that they are very comfortable and feel amazing to wear. They look big but are very light on the feet, also got some cut-outs to keep the cheesse feet smell outta there.  The Black and White colorway was a must for due to the fact that most of my clothes are Black and White so the combos will be on point. JL Authentics Highly approves these Unique / Beautiful / Ugly / Huge / Dope sneakers.
