If there’s one item that has bridged the divide between casual and formal in contemporary menswear, it’s the white sneaker. Shoes that were once strictly for athletic purposes have been transformed into a highly needed essential, providing a versatile and classic footwear to almost any outfit. Here are a few of my favourite white sneakers on the market now. *Please make sure to keep them clean. I mean after all, white sneakers are meant to be white.
Footwear is perhaps one of the most important aspects of a guys wardrobe

IDRESE – NUNO
You will love Idrese if you love wingtips and monk straps. When the weekend hits we all need a pair of minimal white sneakers. Made with Italian Nappa leather and a Margom sole, they’ll go wherever your Saturday takes you. Don’t be afraid to scuff them up a little, they do get better with age. The shoes are crafted in Spain, the shoemaking capital of the world. Actually just a few blocks away from world renown brands such as Magnanni and Umber.

Adidas – Stan Smith
A certified iconic sneaker that although predominantly white, offers a subtle flash of colour in its detailing. The Stan Smith is a fail-safe option that is chunkier than other plimsoll-inspired silhouettes but can still be dressed up with tailoring or down with jeans and chinos. Once again make sure they are kept spotless.

Nike – Air Force 1
The classic show stopping Nike Air Force 1. It has a perforated toe cap allows your feet to breathe, and the padded back keeps your ankles secure and comfortable. OLIVER CABELL – LOW 1
Their design has a very clean cut, with very little flourishes on the shoe itself to give the shoe a strong minimalist look. However, while they’re keeping the silhouette the same, Oliver Cabell has completely revamped everything else. The Low 1 White is an iconic low-top silhouette hand crafted in the Marche region of Italy. Coupled with buttery Italian calfskin leather and Margom outsoles.

A true Scandinavian classic, the Clean 90 sneaker from Swedish label Axel Arigato is aptly named; cut from smooth, supple leather, it has a sleek, simple silhouette, as clean as streetwear favourites come. This pure white pair is fitted with cushioned footbeds and signed off with the label’s gold foil branding.

The all-white shoe is a staple of style, and for a good reason. It’s pair-able with almost everything, provides a clean foundation for other clothing items to show their potential, and offers a level of class that is hard for other shoe colors to replicate. If you are a fashion-minded person who is looking to step his game up when it comes to stylish shoes, you need to have at least one pair of all-white sneakers in your arsenal.
I hope some of the sneakers I have mentioned above are pairs that you will wear and add to you collection. At the moment I have the Air Force 1’s and the Stan Smiths also just ordered the Axel Arigato Clean 90’s. I will be posting a more in depth post about them later on. I’ve also added the OLIVER CABELL Low 1’s to my nowadays short list of to Buy’s.
