” Winter is Around the Corner “

Winter is around the corner so what a better excuse than to go to the Mountains? Took a drive with some friends to the lovely village of Laneia. Laneia is a village at the foot of Mount Troodos on the main Limassol to Troodos road, about 26 km from Limassol. Lania is one of our country’s main wine-producing villages. According to tradition, Lania got its name from Lana, daughter of the Greek god of wine and pleasure, Dionysos. Super nice and super cool since we are on a climate, the village brings a lot of old construction with a little maintenance which makes it look almost new. There are not many things to do however I definitely suggest taking a look at what beauties this small village can offer.

Beige is one of my favourite winter colours. *If you want me to be accurate Cream is one of my favourite colours*. However, let’s just go with Beige so we have no misunderstandings. Great looking and comfortable, this casual combination of a beige jacket and black cargo pants delivers ample styling possibilities. Dressed from top to bottom in ZARA apart from the shoes, is definitely something I don’t do often, however, this all blended together nicely.

On the shoe department, this look is complemented perfectly with my beige Converse x Comme des Garçons PLAY Chuck 70’s. The quirky heart-and-eyes logo, imagined by New York graphic artist Filip Pagowski and Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, is as recognizable as the Chuck Taylor All Star itself. The two iconic brands collide on this simple, but remarkable execution.

3 Easy Ways to style a Beige Jacket.

A super dapper and comfortable way is the casual combination of a beige jacket and dark green cargo pants which deliver a variety of styling possibilities. On the shoe front, this look can be complemented perfectly with beige suede boat shoes or some plain white sneakers. Another way to style a beige jacket is by adding white jeans, it makes the perfect base for a cool and relaxed setup.

Feeling adventurous? Polish off this look by finishing off with a pair of dark brown leather boots. Finally, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to get dressed this way. Just a beige jacket and khaki dress pants. The whole ensemble comes together when you add dark brown leather loafers to the equation.

I hope everyone is staying safe and keeping motivated. We are all going through some hard times and the only thing we can do is just keep our heads up and move forward for a better tomorrow. I have found a way to keep me motivated and that is by trying new things. Reading new books, cooking new dishes and even getting into new types of exercises. Anything you choose, just remember to do it with a healthy mindset. I know it’s easier said than done but I also know it’s easier to do it than to just think about doing it.

To all the people going to work and to all the people working from home like I am. Wishing you all the best and sending you all the positive vibes I can. Just in case you missed it here is also the link of my previous post on how to dress in a working from home environment. Till then I hope you all stay creative and most of all stay AUTHENTIC.
